  • Joshua Milne

Breathe Massage Theory with Josh Milne

    What I do

I have 15 years of experience helping to guide people's bodies and minds to feel good. I went to massage school originally right here at The Santa Barbara Body Therapy Institute in 2008 and I have been educating myself and increasing the scope of my understanding of the body/mind ever since.

The basic philosophy of massage therapy embraces the concept of vis Medicatrix naturae, which is aiding the ability of the body to heal itself, and is aimed at achieving or increasing health and well-being.

I use a large variety of techniques to relax the body and mind, affect the circulation of blood and the flow of lymph, reduce muscular tension or flaccidity, affect the nervous system through stimulation or sedation, and enhance tissue healing. Website
